We’re impressed with their way of thinking: they want to create a seamless experience for true fans, using metrics like Spotify listens, merch purchases, and past concert attendance.

What About AI? Song Using Voices of Drake & The Weeknd Blows Up on TikTok, Then Taken-Down by UMG
Anonymous composer, Ghostwriter997, released an AI-assisted song where he replaced his own recorded vocals with vocals from Drake and The Weeknd
The video raked up millions of views on TikTok and the song hit 250,000 listens on Spotify.
The song has now been removed from all platforms after Universal Music Group (UMG) requested takedown, and UMG told the Financial Times: “We have a moral and commercial responsibility to our artists to work to prevent the unauthorised use of their music and to stop platforms from ingesting content that violates the rights of artists and other creators. We expect our platform partners will want to prevent their services from being used in ways that harm artists.”
